Yes. There is no account, no watermark and no TimerHub branding on your stream. The overlay is a web page OBS draws as a browser source, and everything it needs is in the link you copy.
Anything with a browser source: OBS Studio, Streamlabs Desktop, Meld, Twitch Studio, vMix and XSplit. The OBS-specific extras — restarting when a scene goes live, uptime from Start Streaming and remote commands over obs-websocket — need OBS Studio 28 or later; elsewhere the overlay falls back to counting from when the source loads.
The overlays are small pages that animate with CSS, which OBS’s built-in browser handles comfortably on most streaming PCs. If your machine is already at its limit, choose a transparent background with a still theme such as Clean, Glass or LED.
Yes. Every browser source runs on its own, so you can have an uptime pill in one corner and a BRB countdown on another scene. Give each one its own overlay ID if you save state or send remote commands.
No. Raid, Heist, Arena, Tactical, Storm and Matchday take their mood from the genres people are streaming most this month — fantasy MMOs, open-world crime, MOBAs, tactical shooters, battle royales and football — with original artwork. They use no game’s name, logo or typeface and are not affiliated with any game or publisher.
No. The overlay is part of your video, so it appears on Twitch, YouTube, Kick or anywhere else you stream, on every device.
