The short version
TimerHub has no accounts and no ads, and never sells data. Your timer history, preferences, and stats live only on your own device. The website uses cookieless, aggregate analytics and error monitoring; the mobile app collects nothing at all.
Data stored on your device
Timer sessions, streaks and stats, sound settings and Pomodoro task labels are stored locally in your browser or mobile app. The website also remembers theme choices and running or paused countdowns so a page reload does not lose them. Active mobile timer runs are not restored after the operating system closes the app. They stay on your device unless you choose to share a timer link, stopwatch laps or session history. Sharing uses your device's share sheet. You can clear history from your browser settings or the app's Clear history control.
The website (timerhub.io)
- Analytics: Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless and aggregates page views and feature-usage events (for example "timer started"). It does not identify you and does not track you across sites.
- Error monitoring: Sentry receives error reports (errors only) so broken releases get fixed quickly.
- Optional push alarms: if you grant notification permission for a background timer alarm, a push token, the alarm time, and the timer's title are stored with Firebase until the notification is delivered or cancelled, then deleted. No other timer data is stored server-side.
- Cookies: the site sets none of its own.
The mobile app
The TimerHub app for iOS and Android is fully offline and collects no data: no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising identifiers, and no network requests of its own. Background alarms use local notifications generated on your device — unlike the website's optional push alarms, nothing is sent to any server. The only permission it can ask for is notification permission, and every foreground timer keeps working if you decline.
Support emails
If you email hello@timerhub.io, support@timerhub.io or privacy@timerhub.io, Resend processes your sender address, message and any attachments, then forwards them to our support inbox so we can respond. This happens only when you choose to contact us; the mobile app does not send email or upload its stored data.
