Timer with Alarm
Set any countdown and get a real alarm at zero — sound, vibration and an optional push notification.
Every timer on this site sounds an alarm, but this page is built around it. Pick from four alarm sounds, add a warning tone ten seconds out, and let the browser notify you even if the tab is buried. Set the time by typing straight into the countdown, or jump to one of the common durations below.

About the Timer with Alarm
A free online timer with an alarm that actually rings: four alarm sounds, an optional 10-second warning, vibration on mobile, and a push notification that reaches you in a closed tab. Set any duration and press start.
TimerHub calculates remaining time from an absolute finish timestamp, so missed browser callbacks do not create drift. Read the timing accuracy methodology and reproducible tests.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will the alarm sound if I am on another tab?▾
Yes. The countdown is calculated from an absolute finish time rather than counted ticks, so a throttled background tab still finishes on schedule and plays the alarm. Grant notification permission and you also get a system alert.
What alarm sounds are there?▾
Four: a gentle chime, a digital alarm, a bell and a plain beep. Open settings from the header to preview each one and set the volume. They are generated in the browser, so nothing has to download before the alarm can ring.
Can I get an alarm after closing the tab?▾
Yes, if you allow push notifications. The finish time is registered when you press start, and the notification is delivered at that moment whether or not the page is still open.
Can I mute the alarm and keep the visual countdown?▾
Yes. The speaker button in the header mutes all sound. The countdown, progress bar and finish time keep working, which is what most people want in a shared office or a quiet classroom.
How do I set the duration?▾
Click the countdown and type the time directly, use the plus and minus buttons to adjust in one-minute steps, or pick one of the quick durations below. The page opens at ten minutes.
