Frequently asked questions

What is the 10 second challenge?

A test of your internal clock: start a stopwatch, stop it at exactly 10.00 seconds without watching it. Classic mode hides the numbers after three seconds, Blind mode hides them from the start, and Easy mode leaves them on screen.

How is my time measured?

From the timestamp of your tap or key press, using the browser's high-resolution clock, so a busy page cannot add delay. Times are cut to hundredths like a stopwatch display: only a reading of exactly 10.00 counts as perfect.

What's a good score?

Within a tenth of a second (9.90 to 10.10) is excellent in Classic mode, and within three hundredths is rare. Hitting 10.00 exactly takes skill and some luck — the dial celebrates when you do.

How do I challenge a friend?

After your first attempt, add your name and share the link. It opens the game with your best time on screen, and tells your friend whether they beat you.

Any tips?

Count at a steady rhythm rather than racing the last few seconds, tap on the beat instead of after it, and play in Easy mode first to feel how long a second is. Keep a real stopwatch for the times that matter.
