Upload a countdown video to play inside your presentation, or add a link to an interactive timer. Video playback controls the exported countdown; images and PDFs cannot play it.

Open Notion template ↗Download Markdown starter ↓Notion templates require a Notion account to duplicate. Markdown imports need their timer links converted to embed blocks. Each timer runs independently per browser. TimerHub is independent of Notion, Google and Canva.

TimerHub provides public, interactive countdown, visual, stopwatch, Pomodoro and sequence widgets without authentication. Each embed URL advertises a JSON oEmbed endpoint.
Endpoint: https://www.timerhub.io/api/oembed?url=ENCODED_EMBED_URL. Optional parameters: maxwidth, maxheight and format=json.
Example: Pomodoro oEmbed response. Embed pages allow framing and are excluded from search indexing. Sound requires user interaction. Live timers do not run in exported images or PDFs.
Canva rich embedding remains subject to its provider support. Use the Canva link instructions above until compatibility is confirmed.

Which timers can I embed?
Duration and visual timer pages have their own /embed/ URL, plus a copy control below the timer. The sequence timer has an embed too. The builder also includes compact Pomodoro and stopwatch widgets. The multi-timer tool does not currently have a matching embed.
Can the timer start automatically?
Add &autostart=1 to a configured widget link, or ?autostart=1 to a countdown /embed/ URL. Pomodoro and stopwatch widgets start from their controls. Browsers require interaction before audio can play, so clicking Start is the recommended default. A restored countdown resumes instead of starting again.
Is it free, and does it track anything?
The widgets are free, including commercial use, with no account or advertising. They include anonymous page and usage analytics plus error monitoring. Keep the TimerHub credit inside the widget. We do not include document URLs or custom document titles in widget events.
Will the alarm work in the background?
Click inside the timer to enable audio and check Sound is on. The countdown recovers from its finish time after a delayed browser update, but sound can be delayed or unavailable when the browser suspends the page or the device sleeps. Test it in your workspace before relying on it.
Can my team share a synchronised countdown?
Each viewer controls their own timer. For a meeting where everyone needs the same countdown, have the facilitator share their timer window on screen.
